The first two of these new subdistrict are located in Palian district, Trang province, both created effective September 15 1947 (Gazette).
- Li Phang (ตำบลลิพัง), created by splitting village 3 of Thung Yao subdistrict. It now consists of 7 villages. Since 1997 it is administrated by the TAO Li Phang.
- Ba Wi (ตำบลบ้าหวี) - now in Hat Samran district - created by splitting village 3 of subdistrict Ban Na. It now consists of 4 villages. Since 1999 it is administrated by the TAO Ba Wi.
- Na Thung (ตำบลนาทุ่ง), Sawankhalok district, Sukhothai province, created by splitting village 6 of subdistrict Wang Mai Khon. It now consists of 8 villages. Since 1996 it is administrated by the TAO Na Thung.
- Bang Kao (ตำบลบางเก่า), Sai Buri district, Pattani province, created by splitting village 6 of subdistrict Pase Yawo. It now consists of 4 villages. Since 1996 it is administrated by the TAO Bang Kao.
- Nong Luang (ตำบลหนองหลวง), Umphang district, Tak province, created by splitting village 2 of subdistrict Umphang. It now consists of 3 villages. Since 2004 it is administrated together with neighboring Mae Klong subdistrict by the TAO Mae Klong.
- Mae Lamung (ตำบลแม่ละมุ้ง), Umphang district, Tak province, created by splitting village 3 of subdistrict Umphang. It now consists of 4 villages. Since 2004 it is administrated together with neighboring Umphang subdistrict by the TAO Umphang.
